Happy New Year! Welcome to 2008 - a gentle, compassionate and loving year. From my experience both personally and from what others have told me, 2007 was a year of letting go of what is no longer for our highest good, it was like cleaning out the closet in preparation for new things. For many it was a difficult and testing year, mixed in with a taste of great new things to come.
2008 in terms of numerology equals 10. This is then broken down further 1+0 = 1 and so 2008 is a 1 year. What does this mean? Well the number one is associated with watching your thoughts and thoughts manifesting almost instantly. When we see a lot of ones around us as signs it means it is very important that you watch what you are thinking. 2008 is set to be a powerful year and after clearing the closet last year we are now ready to welcome in all the things we have been manifesting. Things are going to start speeding up and so you must choose your thinking and feeling patterns carefully because they will take form much faster than before.
One is also the number of leadership. It possesses the energy, strength and enthusiasm to get 'the ball rolling' and initiate new projects. So if you have been planning something new this will be the year to go for it. I know for me 2007 was very much about planning and preparing as I knew 2008 would be a very big year of growth and change as things come together. The challenges of 2007 have given us wonderful opportunities for growth to prepare for who we need to be in 2008.
As with any New Year it is the perfect time to decide what it is you choose for your life. It is time to get a clear vision and hold the feeling of that vision already being a reality for you. I have been learning more about the sacred art of the lost mode of prayer and it basically teaches that feeling is the key to bringing things to life. You can be thinking all the right thoughts but if you are not in alignment with your feelings and emotions it will not change a thing. When you feel something you send vibration waves out into the Universe and the Universe reflects these waves. Be very aware of what you are vibrating in 2008!
2008 will be whatever you choose it to be. Choose wisely and enjoy, it is going to be a powerful year.
